Aquamarine waters, palm-fringed beaches and plenty of sunshine attract tourists to Bermuda. Though Bermuda enjoys a mild climate year-round due to the Gulf Stream, its high summer season runs from April through October when the average high is 85°F and the average low is 75°F. Midsummer, the humidity increases making temperatures seem warmer. The low winter season lasts from November through March, with the average high reaching 70°F. Though temperatures are often too cool during the winter for water sports, golf, tennis and hiking are popular land activities at this time. Bermuda's hurricane season lasts from June 1 through November 30, but most hurricanes occur in August, September and October.
